Frequently Asked Questions

  • Implant costs vary based on your individual treatment needs, which is why we offer free consultations to provide an accurate and personalized cost. After your consultation, we’ll review a personalized treatment plan with all costs explained upfront. We do share benchmark dental implants costs for single implants, single arches and double arches for reference: single implants start at $4,499 and single arches start at $21,999. You can learn about our pricing via our comprehensive cost guide which can be downloaded here.

  • Depending on your coverage, dental insurance may provide some assistance with dental implants, however maximums typically range from $1,000 to $2,500 of coverage. Dental insurance typically covers the cost of regular cleanings and maintenance after the implant procedure.

Medical insurance coverage for dental implants depends on a patient’s individual plan, carrier, and qualifying conditions. If your medical insurance provider reimburses any portion of your procedure, you will be notified promptly and provided with the necessary criteria to apply for the reimbursement program. Smart Arches will assist in maximizing any reimbursement from them. In most cases, payments are sent directly to the patient or policyholder.

Please note, however, that reimbursement is not guaranteed and is subject to your insurance provider’s discretion. Most of our patients who submit claims for medical insurance choose to pay out-of-pocket or with financing, and then await any reimbursements directly so that they are able to proceed with their procedures in a timely fashion.

  • We do! This is the most popular option for most of our patients. Once we determine the amount that needs to be financed, we work with multiple 3rd party lenders to secure the most affordable payment plan for you. You can find more information by consulting our dental implants cost guide.

  • The first step is to schedule a free initial exam to assess the condition of your teeth and determine if you are a candidate. We have had patients who have been able to book and attend their initial consultation, surgery and receive teeth within 1 month, to give you a sense of how quickly you can change your smile.

  • Although we recommend scheduling a consultation to meet with one of our professionals a few factors we consider eligibility are:

    • Having one or more missing teeth
    • You have sufficient jawbone density
    • You have healthy gums
    • You’re in good overall health
    • You are not currently undergoing radiation therapy in the jaw area
  • At Smart Arches, you’re treated by nationally recognized leaders in implant dentistry who use advanced technology to deliver superior, longer-lasting results in just a few visits. Our team has led masterclasses on All-on-X surgical techniques, and our doctors’ mastery of complex cases, same-day implant delivery, and full mouth reconstructive techniques sets the gold standard in implant dentistry. When your smile matters, choose proven expertise at Smart Arches.

Time to design your smile! Your next step is a 60-90 minute Smile Design appointment. We’ll take studio photos, help you select tooth color and shape, and assess your bite and smile to recommend enhancements. After this collaborative planning session, we’ll schedule your transformation day.

Procedure day. The first step will be anesthesia for a safe, pain-free experience. We remove damaged teeth and tissue, then place implants with surgical precision. We then use advanced 3D scanning and photogrammetry to create the most precise fit for your prosthetic.

With this information, our on-site lab 3D prints your prosthetic while you recover. On the same day or next, we will deliver your full arch implant prosthesis.

Recovery and aftercare. It is common to experience discomfort and some pain in the first week post-surgery. In addition to eating soft foods, we encourage you to rest and maintain good oral hygiene. We will see you at the 1 week, 1 month and 3 months mark to evaluate your healing.

Final permanent teeth. At around 3-month post-procedure, once the bones have fused to the implants and your healing is complete, we will take new records and then print a new prototype try-in. Once you are happy with the prototype, we then finalize and create your permanent teeth, which we will install 1-2 weeks later.
