Financing Options for Dental Implants

Don’t wait for your dream smile – flexible financing makes it possible right now.

How Does Financing Implants Work?

Smart Arches partners with several lending institutions and offers a variety of financing options to help manage the cost of dental implants and increase access to treatment.

We partner with a variety of third-party institutions to offer patients needing partial or full financing to cover their procedure. In addition to these programs, patients may choose to borrow from their 401(k) retirement savings account, leverage home equity with a line of credit, or opt for a reverse mortgage. We would review all of these options with you at the end of your first consultation.

Curious about how financing works? Ready the step-by-step illustrative example of how to finance implants.

Prepare. After we determine the treatment cost, we work together to identify the amount you would need to finance. This will guide your application and help you choose the right lender. We’ll also conduct a credit score check which will be the basis of your eligibility as well as the terms of your financing. As part of this process, we’ll also work to determine the best fit for lenders for your lending amount and situation.

Apply. Next, submit the appropriate documentation such as identification, financial statements and proof of income, as well as filling out and submitting the application.

Review. The lender will process your application, which may involve checking your credit and verifying your financial information. This can take anywhere from a few hours to several days. If approved, patients should carefully review the loan terms, including interest rates, repayment schedule, fees, and any other conditions, before signing the loan agreement.

Accept & Receive. After review, the last step is to sign the loan agreement and receive your funds to begin treatment. Once the agreement is signed, the lender will disburse the funds, either as a lump sum or through another agreed-upon method. The entire process is streamlined to get you the financing you need quickly, allowing you to focus on your dental care rather than payment concerns.

Financing FAQs

  • The cost of dental implants varies based on several factors. The number and type of implants play a key role: higher-quality materials tend to look more natural and last longer, while needing more implants increases complexity and cost. Some patients may require preliminary procedures like bone grafts, sinus lifts, or extractions, which can extend the treatment timeline and add to the cost. Anesthesia or sedation also impacts pricing; we offer both IV sedation and general anesthesia, delivered through advanced systems designed for comfort, safety, and a smooth recovery. Lastly, many patients choose to finance their treatment, with terms depending on credit and total cost. In some cases, medical insurance may help cover part of the expense.

  • Every patient’s needs are different, which is why a personalized consultation with your Smart Arches implant team is crucial. During this free initial consultation, we’ll evaluate your specific situation and provide a clear breakdown of your cost. If you’re ready to explore your options, schedule your initial dental implant consultation today to get a comprehensive understanding of your treatment plan and associated costs.

  • Your credit score and procedure cost (total amount to be financed) will determine your eligibility, interest rate and term length.

  • Smile Score financing from Smart Arches may be available to patients who qualify for a payment plan ranging from 24 to 60 months. This financing is exclusive to Smart Arches and designed to assist patients who need support building credit, and may have previously been denied by lenders. A Smile Score financing plan includes credit guidance and personalized help securing approval. Ask your patient ambassador about Smile Score financing at your first consultation.

  • Dental insurance may provide some assistance with dental implants, however maximums typically range from$1,000 to $2,500 of coverage.Generally, Medicare and Medicaid do not provide coverage for dental implants. Medical insurance may also provide partial or full reimbursement for dental implants, however that will depend on your insurer, specific health plan coverage, your qualifying medical condition(s) and the treatment available to you. Additionally, medical insurance approval for your claim may take upwards of several months or more. Most patients will secure third party financing for their initial investment, and any additional medical reimbursements will be an additional savings if approved by the insurance provider. In case of accidents, other insurance coverage (such as workers compensation or other general liability insurance) may be applicable as well.
