Dr. Theis continues to develop his extensive expertise in cosmetic dentistry, as well as the latest dental techniques and technology to provide an optimal treatment experience. Additionally, Dr. Theis is a strong believer in preventative oral hygiene education; all of his patients will leave with the information they need to maintain an excellent at-home hygiene routine. Education and background

Dr. Jaron Theis was raised in Williamsport, PA, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Lycoming College. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry. Dr. Theis is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists. As a child, Dr. Theis developed a love of art, inspired by his mother, an acrylic portrait artist. Being able to combine his passion for art and science led him to pursue a career in dentistry.

Dr. Theis has been voted a “Top Dentist” by Philadelphia Magazine (2026).

Home life

Dr. Theis currently lives in Philadelphia with his wife, who is a pediatric dental resident, and their son. He enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking, golfing, and as a foodie, trying out new restaurants. Dr. Theis loves football, and although he is a 49ers fan, he has grown to love watching the Eagles win after living in the Philadelphia area.

Dr. Theis is the Best!!! He always very professional, caring, and an excellent dentist. In fact, he is the best dentist I have ever had, hands down! The staff at Smart Arches are great!
